UK Saddle
The finest saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery.
Using traditional tanning methods that have been used since Roman times, leather for horse tack is produced using bulls born and raised locally, taking the time and effort that has been taken since then.
Because the wax permeates the fine fibers of the leather, it feels nearly twice as heavy as normal leather and has excellent strength, water resistance, etc. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools and the most suitable oils and greases for the leather.
The leather is about 5 to 5.5 mm thick, and is smoothed out depending on the purpose.
The leather has different textures depending on the part, with the buttocks being relatively smooth and the shoulders having deep wrinkles. As you use it, the gloss will increase, the color will darken and the leather will become more beautiful.
